Christ as creations goal

It must be affirmed that because Christ is creations's goal, creation obviously reaches its goal when he comes-every time he comes! Jesus is not who he is, nor does he doe what he does, for himself. He is Immanuel, God-with-us. He is the human being, representative to God for us all. Because he is neither a human being nor God-with-us for himself, but always for us, God's purpose for us is always accomplished in him. Adrio Konig, The Eclipse of Christ in Eschatology, p. 42-43
